Palm-Paraffin blended wax for jar candles

About This Product
This blend combines hydrogenated palm oil, CAS 8021-56-5, with refined paraffin, formulated and texturised specifically for filled container candles. It is supplied as flakes or slabs and specified by melting point, congealing point and oil content rather than by a single component figure. The container format sets the requirements, and they pull in different directions. The wax must adhere to glass so that no wet spots appear as it cools and contracts, it must give a smooth level top, it must release fragrance when the melt pool forms, and it must be soft enough to melt fully across the jar without tunnelling. Paraffin delivers adhesion, gloss and throw; palm wax on its own is too hard and too crystalline for a jar and will pull away from the glass. Blending gives a container wax that keeps paraffin's surface quality and scent performance while the palm fraction adds opacity, firmness, a higher renewable content and better warm-climate stability. Pour temperature and cooling rate remain the main levers on finish quality. It is used in filled jar and tin candles, votives poured into cups, and in commercial and private-label container candle production. Bio Green Wax supplies this blend to specification on blend ratio, melting point, congealing point, oil content, colour and fragrance load, with RSPO certification available on the palm fraction.
