PE Wax and FT Wax serve as effective external lubricants and dispersing agents for carbon black and filler incorporation.

    Fully Refined Paraffin Wax (50-68°C)

    Fully refined paraffin wax (CAS 8002-74-2) is petroleum wax hydrotreated to below 0.5 percent oil content. Supplied in melting grades from 50 to 68 degrees Celsius, it is odourless, white and approved for food contact.

    Semi Refined Paraffin Wax (50-68°C) — feedstock option for Rubber & Plastics

    Semi Refined Paraffin Wax (50-68°C)

    Semi refined paraffin wax carries 0.5 to 1.5 percent residual oil against the fully refined grade's 0.5 percent maximum. That extra oil lowers the cost and improves mould release, at the price of a faint odour and slight colour.

    Microcrystalline Wax — feedstock option for Rubber & Plastics

    Microcrystalline Wax

    Microcrystalline wax (CAS 63231-60-7) is petroleum wax made of branched and cyclic hydrocarbons rather than straight chains. The irregular molecules cannot pack neatly, so it forms tiny crystals and is flexible and tacky where paraffin is brittle.

    Polyethylene wax (CAS 9002-88-4) is low molecular weight polyethylene melting between about 100 and 130 degrees Celsius. Added at one to three percent it hardens a candle, raises gloss and helps hold fragrance and colour in place.

    Palm Stearic Acid is a saturated fatty acid (C₁₈H₃₆O₂) derived from palm oil through hydrolysis and fractionation. It appears as a white, waxy solid with a mild odor and is one of the most common fatty acids used in industrial and consumer products.

    PFAD (Palm Fatty Acid Distillate) — feedstock option for Rubber & Plastics

    PFAD (Palm Fatty Acid Distillate)

    PFAD is the condensate collected under vacuum when palm oil is deodorised during refining. At 85 to 95 percent free fatty acids it is a cheap feedstock for soap, candles and fatty acid recovery, and a source of natural vitamin E.
