Bio Green Wax supplies pharmaceutical-grade waxes, oils, and excipients that meet the rigorous purity and compliance standards required by the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industries. Our products are essential components in ointments, creams, suppositories, tablet coatings, capsule formulations, and controlled-release drug delivery systems.

Our pharma-grade portfolio includes Beeswax (conforming to BP/Ph.Eur pharmacopoeia standards), Carnauba Wax, Microcrystalline Wax, Fully Refined Paraffin Wax, Castor Oil, Hydrogenated Castor Oil (Castor Wax), Glycerine, Coconut Oil, and Olive Oil. Each product is manufactured under strict GMP conditions and supplied with comprehensive documentation including certificates of analysis, pharmacopoeia compliance reports, and stability data.

Beeswax and Carnauba Wax serve as excellent stiffening agents and emulsifiers in topical preparations. Microcrystalline Wax provides superior binding and moisture barrier properties for tablet coatings. Castor Oil is widely used in pharmaceutical formulations for its excellent solubilising properties, while Glycerine serves as a critical humectant, solvent, and sweetening agent in oral liquid preparations.

Our pharmaceutical customers benefit from batch-to-batch consistency, full traceability from source to delivery, and regulatory documentation to support your compliance with FDA, MHRA, EMA, and other global pharmaceutical regulatory frameworks. We maintain dedicated storage and handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure product integrity.

Whether you are developing new formulations or seeking a reliable supply partner for established pharmaceutical products, Bio Green Wax provides the quality assurance, technical expertise, and supply reliability that the pharmaceutical industry demands. Products for Pharmaceuticals

Beeswax — feedstock option for Pharmaceuticals

    Beeswax

Beeswax (CAS 8012-89-3 yellow, 8006-40-4 white; INCI Cera Flava and Cera Alba) is secreted by worker honeybees to build comb. It melts at 61 to 65 degrees Celsius and is the reference natural wax for candles, cosmetics and polishes.

Carnauba Wax — feedstock option for Pharmaceuticals

    Carnauba Wax

Carnauba wax (CAS 8015-86-9, INCI Copernicia Cerifera Wax) is harvested from the leaves of the Brazilian carnauba palm. Melting at 82 to 86 degrees Celsius, it is the hardest natural wax in commercial use and gives the highest gloss.

Microcrystalline Wax — feedstock option for Pharmaceuticals

    Microcrystalline Wax

Microcrystalline wax (CAS 63231-60-7) is petroleum wax made of branched and cyclic hydrocarbons rather than straight chains. The irregular molecules cannot pack neatly, so it forms tiny crystals and is flexible and tacky where paraffin is brittle.

Fully Refined Paraffin Wax (50-68°C) — feedstock option for Pharmaceuticals

    Fully Refined Paraffin Wax (50-68°C)

Fully refined paraffin wax (CAS 8002-74-2) is petroleum wax hydrotreated to below 0.5 percent oil content. Supplied in melting grades from 50 to 68 degrees Celsius, it is odourless, white and approved for food contact.

Castor Oil — feedstock option for Pharmaceuticals

    Castor Oil

Castor oil (CAS 8001-79-4, INCI Ricinus Communis Seed Oil) is the raw material from which castor wax is made, and a cosmetic ingredient in its own right. Its ricinoleic acid content gives it unusual viscosity, polarity and gloss.

Hydrogenated Castor Oil (Castor Wax) — feedstock option for Pharmaceuticals

    Hydrogenated Castor Oil (Castor Wax)

Hydrogenated castor oil (CAS 8001-79-4, INCI Hydrogenated Castor Oil), known as castor wax, melts at 85 to 88 degrees Celsius, the highest of the common vegetable waxes. Hard, brittle and water-insoluble, it structures and thickens at low addition.

Glycerine — feedstock option for Pharmaceuticals

    Glycerine

Glycerine (CAS 56-81-5, INCI Glycerin) is propane-1,2,3-triol, the sweet, syrupy co-product of soap making and fat splitting. Supplied crude at around 80 percent or refined to 99.5 percent, it is the most used humectant in personal care.

Coconut Oil — feedstock option for Pharmaceuticals

    Coconut Oil

Coconut Oil, derived from mature coconut kernels (Cocos nucifera), is a natural, versatile oil rich in medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs), lauric acid, and antioxidants. Widely used for cooking, cosmetics, hair care, pharmaceuticals, and industrial applications like soap making.

Olive Oil — feedstock option for Pharmaceuticals

    Olive Oil

Olive oil (CAS 8001-25-0, INCI Olea Europaea Fruit Oil) is pressed from the fruit of Olea europaea. In soap and cosmetic manufacture its high oleic content gives a mild, conditioning bar and a rich, slow-spreading emollient film.

Sunflower Oil — feedstock option for Pharmaceuticals

    Sunflower Oil

Sunflower Oil, derived from sunflower seeds (Helianthus annuus), is a pure, versatile vegetable oil rich in heart-friendly linoleic and oleic acids plus antioxidant vitamin E. Trusted worldwide for frying, baking, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and biodiesel applications.
