Bio Green Wax provides high-performance wax additives for the adhesives, coatings, inks, and sealants industries. Our waxes enhance product performance by improving scratch resistance, moisture barrier properties, surface slip, anti-blocking characteristics, and release functionality.
Our adhesives and coatings portfolio includes Fully Refined Paraffin Wax, Microcrystalline Wax, Polyethylene Wax (PE Wax), Fischer-Tropsch (FT) Wax, Carnauba Wax, Beeswax, and specialty wax emulsions. Each product is selected for its specific contribution to adhesive and coating formulation performance.
In hot-melt adhesive production, Microcrystalline Wax and Paraffin Wax control open time, set speed, and flexibility. PE Wax and FT Wax act as viscosity modifiers and crystallisation nucleators, improving application properties and bond strength. These waxes are essential components in packaging hot-melts, bookbinding adhesives, product assembly adhesives, and pressure-sensitive formulations.
For coating and ink applications, Carnauba Wax provides exceptional mar and scratch resistance in overprint varnishes and protective coatings. PE Wax dispersions improve anti-scuff properties in water-based and solvent-based coatings. FT Wax enhances rub resistance and slip properties in printing inks for packaging applications.
Our wax emulsions are available in both anionic and non-ionic forms for easy incorporation into water-based adhesive and coating systems. They provide anti-blocking properties, coefficient of friction reduction, and moisture resistance in paper, board, and film coating applications.

Products for Adhesives

Fully Refined Paraffin Wax (50-68°C)
Fully refined paraffin wax (CAS 8002-74-2) is petroleum wax hydrotreated to below 0.5 percent oil content. Supplied in melting grades from 50 to 68 degrees Celsius, it is odourless, white and approved for food contact.

Microcrystalline Wax
Microcrystalline wax (CAS 63231-60-7) is petroleum wax made of branched and cyclic hydrocarbons rather than straight chains. The irregular molecules cannot pack neatly, so it forms tiny crystals and is flexible and tacky where paraffin is brittle.

Polyethylene Wax (PE wax)
Polyethylene wax (CAS 9002-88-4) is low molecular weight polyethylene melting between about 100 and 130 degrees Celsius. Added at one to three percent it hardens a candle, raises gloss and helps hold fragrance and colour in place.

Fischer-Tropsch (FT) wax
Fischer‑Tropsch (FT) wax is a high‑purity synthetic paraffin wax produced from syngas, offering high melting point, low viscosity, and excellent hardness for demanding applications in plastics, coatings, inks, adhesives, and bitumen modification

Carnauba Wax
Carnauba wax (CAS 8015-86-9, INCI Copernicia Cerifera Wax) is harvested from the leaves of the Brazilian carnauba palm. Melting at 82 to 86 degrees Celsius, it is the hardest natural wax in commercial use and gives the highest gloss.

Beeswax
Beeswax (CAS 8012-89-3 yellow, 8006-40-4 white; INCI Cera Flava and Cera Alba) is secreted by worker honeybees to build comb. It melts at 61 to 65 degrees Celsius and is the reference natural wax for candles, cosmetics and polishes.

Semi Refined Paraffin Wax (50-68°C)
Semi refined paraffin wax carries 0.5 to 1.5 percent residual oil against the fully refined grade's 0.5 percent maximum. That extra oil lowers the cost and improves mould release, at the price of a faint odour and slight colour.
