A toothbrush handle is a demanding application for a compostable polymer, and the reason is the timeline. The handle sits in a wet bathroom for three months and must not soften, swell or lose its shape — then it should break down once it reaches a composting environment. That is the balance this grade is formulated for: hydrolysis resistance and dimensional stability across the service life, with the stiffness a brush handle needs and secure anchorage for the tuft head. It applies equally to other moulded personal care bodies with a defined life in a humid environment. Supplied as a raw material for processing on your own line. We do not produce finished articles.
